Scanreco radio remotes are fitted to many of the knuckle boom cranes that work on drywall trucks, across several crane makes. We are an independent shop, not a Scanreco dealer. We source Scanreco remote parts, new and used, and we repair the remote side of the crane.

Scanreco remote repair
A dead remote is not always a dead transmitter. Before you buy a new one, it is worth finding out where the fault really is:
- Battery and charger. A tired battery or a failed charger is the most common cause of a remote that cuts out
- Emergency stop. A worn stop switch can drop the link intermittently
- Levers and switches. One dead function often means one lever or its contacts
- Cables and connectors. A damaged cable or a corroded plug at the receiver
- The receiver and the crane valve. If the transmitter checks out, the fault can be downstream of the radio
Bring the crane to our shop in Orlando and we will find the fault and fix it with the right part, or send the transmitter details and we will help you work out what it needs.
New or used
A new part is the right answer for batteries, stop switches and anything that wears. For an older remote, a good used transmitter or board can keep a crane working at a fraction of the price of a new system. Ask us to price both.
